Beyond theory: Practical solutions for sustainable consumption

Sustainability is a buzzword and increasingly being misused to trigger the consumption of “green” products. Although we are incrasingly motivated to act more sustainably, our efforts are constantly threatened by rebound effects, knowledge gaps, greenwashing or simply high prices. But do we really need to spend more money on products that claim to be more sustainable? Or do we simply lack the tools and routines to meet our needs with minimal negative impact?
In this event we take the ecological impact of personal consumption habits as a starting point and then gather, exchange and evaluate practical solutions that fit our individual needs and budget.

What questions are addressed?

  • Do we really need to spend more money on products that claim to be more sustainable or do we simply lack the tools and routines to meet our needs more sustainably?
  • How can practical solutions for sustainable consumption look like? Do they fit my individual needs?
