The Pines is a newcomer trio that draws inspiration from the genres of jazz, soul and funk.
Joining them is Annika Franz, a jazz/pop/soul singer. She will perform her own songs together with the Pines. These often deal with the preciousness of nature and the versatility of human feelings.
The musical program will be completed by covers.

Annika Franz is a singer-songwriter from Germany. She loves to put her insights and emotions into song lyrics. She writes pop music with soul and jazz touches about planet earth, human feelings and other topics.
In summer 2022 her EP with three songs will be released, produced by Valentin Hansel. Finding her own words and melodies always puts Annika under “a spell” – and drives her. It gives her strength, meaning and joy.
Annika wants to communicate through her music. And at the same time affect the audiance and release life energy.
Music connects.
While composing, Annika gets in touch with her heart, her soul and her mind. During live performances she gets in touch with other people. Music makes it possible to get in touch with oneself and others. The young singer loves this universal language – and wants to write her own story in it.
