How growth came into souls

The term “mental infrastructures” was coined by social psychologist Harald Welzer and introduced into the post-growth debate to shed light on the roles of thought patterns and cultural practices for social change.
We will use text to start a discussion and go into personal reflections.

The texts used in this workshop are inspired by Welzer, but also by other authors. The theses put forward in the texts are contentious because they cover a large historical arc and are thus highly simplistic.

Facilitator: Anna Struth

What questions are addressed?

How is growth part of my mind set?
How did the idea of growth historically develop?
